As a fast-growing start-up backed by solid public & private investors, we are actively looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing SaaS solutions and a proven track record of driving product success. The position is full-time and with indefinite duration. 

 

Your role 

You will be reporting to our COO, and you will play an active role in the business and development Team.  

As a Product Owner, your responsibilities will consist of: 

  • Define the product vision and roadmap for SaaS solutions. 
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, customers, and market research. 
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria. 
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery. 
  • Conduct regular product backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions. 
  • Monitor product performance and gather user feedback to drive continuous improvement. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and communication. 
  • Ensure alignment between product development and company goals and objectives. 

Required skills

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, specifically with SaaS solutions. 
  • Excellent ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications. 
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. 
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed product decisions. 
  • Experience with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.). 

Qualifications 

  • Excellent communication in English and French or Dutch, 3 languages a strong asset 
  • Significant professional experience in a similar role. 
  • Proven track record of successful product delivery and management. 
  • Certifications in product management or Agile methodologies (CSPO, SAFe, etc.) welcomed. 

 

Your profile 

As the perfect candidate, you have/you are: 

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience 
  • Strong motivation to join a growing start-up specialized in climate change mitigation 
  • Stress resistance and high-level of commitment 
  • Currently legally eligible to work in Belgium 
  • Knowledge of decarbonation and sustainability  
  • Strong motivation to join a growing start-up 
  • Strong customer focus 
  • Currently legally eligible to work in Belgium
