Frederic John, a 2014 graduate of the Faculté Warocqué d’Économie et de Gestion and holder of an MBA from Imperial College London, co-founded D-Carbonize, a Belgian company specializing in the development of carbon accounting software, present in over 15 countries. He also teaches at the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons.

Frederic John, co-founder and COO of D-Carbonize, emphasizes that decarbonization is an opportunity to create value. The Belgian company, active in 12 countries, offers carbon measurement software and recently opened an office in Provence.

D-Carbonize, a Belgian Climate-Tech start-up, set up in Marseille in May 2024, integrating the ZEBOX gas pedal. It has partnered with Team Henri-Fabre via the PRACCIIS program to help companies decarbonize their activities. Its Carbon Cockpit Scan tool, certified by ADEME, is available to program members. D-Carbonize was awarded the “Invest in Provence” label in June 2024.

D-Carbonize, a Belgian cleantech start-up founded in 2021, helps companies reduce their carbon footprint via a CO₂ management tool and consulting services. It benefited from RMB and Upcut’s ‘Blue Upstarter’ offer, which provides sustainable start-ups with professional video production and an affordable digital media campaign, to increase its visibility on the market.
