Frequently asked questions
We’ve already covered your main questions. Scroll down to learn more.
How long does it take to conduct a carbon footprint assessment?
With the simplified Scan version, it takes just a few hours to obtain an initial assessment. For a more detailed analysis using our Expert version, you should generally allow between 5 and 10 working days, spread out over a few weeks. The duration depends mainly on the quality and availability of the company's data: the more structured the data is, the faster the process.
Do you need to be an expert to use Carbon Cockpit?
No, the Scan version is designed to be used without prior expertise. It includes a variety of resources to guide users, such as a chatbot, tutorial videos, and context-sensitive help. The Expert version, on the other hand, is intended for users who are trained in the tool and the principles of carbon accounting, so they can take full advantage of its precision.
How does the software contribute to financial performance?
Thanks to the Reduce module, the Carbon Cockpit allows you to compare the environmental and financial impact of each reduction measure. This enables you to develop a realistic decarbonization plan, aligned with your financial goals, for each entity, scope, or emission source.
Is the software compliant with regulations?
Yes, absolutely. Carbon Cockpit is aligned with the GHG Protocol and the Bilan Carbone® methodology to ensure a reliable, structured approach that complies with key industry standards.
What types of companies is this solution designed for?
The Carbon Cockpit is designed for all companies that want to measure and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Its advanced calculation, analysis, and management features are particularly well-suited for industrial and construction companies.
Can suppliers be integrated?
Yes. The Carbon Cockpit offers several options for involving suppliers in the collection of CO2e emissions data, both at the organizational level and for their products.
Can all scopes be measured?
Yes. The Carbon Cockpit allows you to measure Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Avoided and sequestered emissions can also be accounted for in a dedicated module.
No commitment. Expert-led discussion.
